 It is our goal that every lawn looks great after we have completed, and we want to promote a healthy landscape while giving our customers the best product, at the most economical price for our professional landscape services.

Our Business

K&M Landscape Contractors, LLC, offers landscape services in Birmingham and vicinity.  It is known as doing business as, Two Athletes and a Lawnmower Lawn Service. 

Mike Jones started the business in 2005 with two employees and 25 properties.  In the past four years the business has grown to more than 12 employees and over 150 residential and 65 commercial properties.  The most important strength that has allowed the company to succeed is the hard work and attention to detail by its employees.  

K&M Landscape Contractors, LLC is a fully license and insured company.

Who We Are

Mike Jones, Owner, has a B.A. in secondary education in 1996 and a master's degree in health education from UAB in 1997.  He joined the Blazer football team in 1993 after transferring from Jones Community College in Ellisville, Miss. he was among the first scholarship class in the history of UAB football is a Blazer letterman.

Jones brings 16 years of business experience.  He is a licensed General Contractor for the State of Alabama along with having become certified in Setting of Landscape Plants (SLP) and Ornamental and Turf Pest Control (OTPS).  

Mike has knowledge and use of equipment from walk behind mowers, riding mowers, zero turn mowers, backhoes,  bulldozers, Bobcat's, weed and hedge trimmers, hand blowers, back pack blowers and a host of other hand tools related to the landscape industry.
